Terms & Conditions – Active Skip Bins
Thank you for choosing Active Skip Bins, a family-owned and operated business. To ensure a safe and efficient service, please read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions before placing an online order.

6. Skip Bin Placement – Our drivers will make the final decision on bin placement to ensure compliance with our Public Liability Insurance.
If no one is home at the time of delivery, we will follow any prior instructions or place the bin in the most suitable location available.
7. Moving Skip Bins – Skip bins must NOT be moved from their original placement without permission from Active Skip Bins.
8. Overloaded bins – Do NOT over fill the bin. To ensure safe transport, the load must be secure:

Approximately 20cm above the top rim is generally acceptable.

If the bin cannot be safely transported, excess waste may be removed and left on the property.
9. Overweight bins – Pricing includes a standard weight limit per waste type.
Exceeding this limit will incur an additional fee based on the current Waste Fee rate.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any excess charges.
10. Bin Damage – You must notify Active Skip Bins of any damage to the skip bin during the hire period.
Repairs resulting from misuse or negligence may be charged to the customer.
11. Hirer’s Responsibility – The Hirer is responsible for the skip bin from the time of delivery until collection.
12. Refund Policy –

Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before scheduled delivery will receive a refund, minus a $20 administration fee.

Service Not Provided: A full refund will be issued for any paid order that cannot be fulfilled by Active Skip Bins.
13. Prohibited and Declarable items – Please review our current list of prohibited and declarable items.
Additional fees apply if declarable items are not disclosed.
14. Limitation of Liability – Active Skip Bins accepts no responsibility for any damage to your property resulting from the delivery, placement, or collection of the skip bin.
15. Privacy Policy – We respect your privacy and take all reasonable measures to protect your personal information.

16. Online Security – We have taken reasonable steps to secure our website, including SSL certification.
However, we do not accept liability for data breaches caused by hacking or unauthorised access.
17. Changes to Terms and Pricing –

Active Skip Bins reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Skip bin pricing may be updated without notice, typically in line with changes to waste disposal fees.
Pre-paid bookings will be honoured unless there is a significant increase in Council Waste Charges.
18. Zip Pay Information. Minimum monthly repayments are required. A monthly account fee of $9.95 applies and is subject to change. Pay your closing balance in full by the due date each month and we’ll waive the fee. Available to approved applicants only and subject to completion of satisfactory credit assessment.
